After reading my Day 2 blog with utter contempt Adrienne decided to step it up big time to my surprise. Apparently she thought my Day 2 description of her work made her look rather lackadaisical about the project. That was not my intention but my writing like my attitude tends to always veer towards the negative. Heck it got her ass in gear so I guess it all worked out in the end.

Like I said we are in the tight corners and detail phase which means things are very slow going. All work has to be done by hand and getting in the tight areas are near to impossible with sand paper less risking damage to the wood. For what its worth she made quite a dent in the same long side I have been working on, finishing most of the flat parts and getting a quarter of the way of the decorative chair rail that runs around the periphery of the sides of the table finished on that particular side. That chair rail is by far the hardest sand of the job. Ade’s kudos to you for getting the ball rolling.

While working at J7 yesterday I salvaged an old discarded aluminum sanding grate out of the trash. Too worked for shaping blanks, but I think it is malleable enough the get all the small pieces I have been at loss to get to thus far. The price was right, its all about budget on this job folks. Stay tuned for more table progress soon. I have to admit Im feeling rather lazy on it as of this moment.
